MLB The Show 13 Stuttering Thread

Hey everyone. I've noticed last year with 12 and now this year with 13 when a pitch is about to be released there will be a brief stall or stutter. Last night I tried rebuilding database and at first it was fine for a game but today it's doing it again. Last weekend I bought a brand new super slim ps3 and same thing happened so I returned that ps3 and back to using my one I have. Anyone else had this experience?

Its a problem, its showing up in most of the gameplay vids posted so far. Much more prevalent than last year I'd say based on how much people have noticed it already.

I got it once in a while in MLB 12 and attributed it to my PS3, but seeing more people complain about it has made me think its just the game and not a hardware issue.

This is not a new issue, but it feels more overt this year. There are other similar threads as well.

Thanks MrOldboy... It's only this game to. No stutter on any other game. I just deleted the 10 gig install to try the 5 gig install but not sure how big of a difference it will make .

There must be something causing this as some people have said its been smooth so far.

Have you tried playing disconnected from the network?

I'm going to try this when I get home tonight and see if it makes a difference.

Today I deleted the 10 gig install file, did rebuild database and then installed the 5 gig file, for last 45 mins to an hour I haven't seen the pitching stutter yet so let's hope this fixes it

10 GB Install and played a few games before the Yankees played and the only stutter I've seen is coming out of replay transitions, no pitch stutter so far. I pitch from the 'Pitcher' view if that helps but haven't seen it while hitting yet either (which is from Catcher view)

I had the stutter issue when I first installed. After a reboot no problem.
Then today I had a slight stutter after I tried to redeem my online code, which I cannot do until Tuesday.

So the network thing could be the problem. Now everthing is smooth.

I have not seen any stutter myself but I will be doing some serious playing here in about 2 hours so we shall see.

I got it yesterday, I have only gameplayed about a couple of hours , I will report on it later tonight .
