I think I may post my shooting sliders as over time I may have tweaked them by a point or 2 and believe I have turned down the shooting foul slider to 60 for user and 60 for cpu but I need to double check. Otherwise, the sliders are going to be final on everything else unless an issue arrises. Also, I have been playing with these sliders for many months and many Associations and have not gotten to the point where I can blow the CPU out every time I play so I seriously doubt any tweaking as far as difficulty will be necessary. However, if you do get the point where they need tweaking I will be glad to assist where I can.

A quick story, I was in the last year of Carmelo's deal and made it to the playoffs ( I do 29 game seasons since changed my roster keeps me interested for longer periods of time) and I beat the Nets first round by sweeping...so next round I play the Raptors led by Tony Parker (and Demar Derozen who has advanced to a 90+ player over the last 3 yrs) and I got swept!! I couldn't believe it, I thought my team was good enough. Melo didn't play well all series and his contract was up so I let him walk as he wanted to test free agency anyways. In the offseason I signed John Wall and Paul George to max 5 contracts. Here is my starting line up

PG - John Wall (95)
SG - Austin Rivers (91)
SF - Paul George (88)
PF - Perry Jones (81)
C - Jonas Valvicous (83) ( I butchered that name but he is in the draft this yr)

Bench
JR Smith
Thomas Robinson
DeAndre Jordan
Ish Smith
etc...

I love love love my starting line up!!!! Lets hope this year is better than last.

Wow, John Wall over Carmelo all day. Very nice lineup... that looks like a killer squad.

Re: RedLogic's HOF Slider set - Shot Stick Timing FG & FT's

RedLogic I have been using your sliders (with a few minor shooting adjustments) and they are definitely the best set I have played with. I have played about 20 games and almost all have been close. I think I blew out a team once and was blown out once so it is very realistic.

My only concern is offensive rebounds. In year 3 of my Kings Association I have Kevin Love (99 off reb) and Cousins (91 off reb). After 2 games they have just 3 offensive rebounds combined. They should each be getting about 3 per game, but at this point, I am hoping each of them gets one per game. What would you recommend to fix this problem? Should I just raise the off rebounding slider and lower defensive or should I change vertical as well since in real life they dont get rebounds from their vertical they get them from positioning?

Redlogic, have you tried playing with Chia's roster uploaded by AeroSupreme... It works brilliant with your slider. You will see different gameplay with that roster, even better.

I think it's pretty much agreed that there is a fundamental issue with this yr's version of NBA 2k when it comes to offensive rebounds. There is no amount of slider tweaks that will fix the programmed behavior of the players as far as positioning goes. I would be very hesitant to touch any slider like vertical that could have negative affects on attributes other than intended. My personal solution has always been that after I put up a shot, I quickly switch to a big close to the rim or even stay on the guy who shot the ball and go back up for the O reb. I have had a lot of success with this, grabbing offensive rebounds in the double digits very often. If anything, you can try to raise O Reb and lower D rebounds. As a general rule of thumb I don't like to raise or lower sliders higher than 75 or lower than 35 fearing that I may just break the feature I'm trying to fix altogether. My best advice is when you play try to control the offensive rebounder after you put up a shot and see if that helps along with minor rebounding slider tweaks. Let me know what happens. I'm always open to suggestions and if you find something that does help O rebounds I'll make a permanent change to the slider set after some testing.

No I don't use any custom roster sets, and I am so deep in my franchise (currently in season 5) that I don't want to start over. If I get the chance I will check em out. Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the sliders however.

I'm going to try these out tonight. I've been playing on All-star, but I think I need to up the challenge. Never played any NBA 2k game on HOF. Should be fun. Hopefully

These sliders will definitely present a challenge for you, I can almost guarantee. Let me know how it goes or if you have any feedback/concerns.

One more thing I wanted to add...with these sliders you must stay active at pretty much all times. You can't take a possession off, you can't fall asleep on D. I found I have the most success when I am using players to go for blocks, switch to a Guard for a steal then switch to a big man for a block, basically switching on D trying to stay active...tip passes, block shots, steal and contest. The better you get at doing that and staying active the more success you will have.
