- WOLVES KEEP WINNING – Continuing their momentum from winning THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T, T-Wolves Gaming (4-0) went undefeated in Week 1. Point guard Michael “BearDaBeast” Key averaged 25 points and 7.8 assists in four games during the week. THE TIPOFF MVP Dhwan “ShiftyKaii” White also averaged 20.8 points and 5.3 assists. The team looks to improve to 8-0 with matchups against Pistons GT and Bucks Gaming in Week 2.
- MARIO’S DEBUT – On Saturday, May 29, Mario “avemario” Ortega Ariza, the first-ever NBA 2K League player from Spain, made his NBA 2K League debut with Cavs Legion GC. The center recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Ortega Ariza was selected with the 41st pick in the 2021 NBA 2K League Draft and began playing NBA 2K with NBA 2K11.
- VANDI, VIDI, VICI: Veteran point guard Zach “Vandi” Vandivier’s play for Grizz Gaming (3-1) is turning heads. In his third season, the Aurora, O.H.-native currently ranks second in the league in scoring (31.0 PPG). Vandivier and Grizz Gaming will visit Bucks Gaming on Saturday, June 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
- GAME OF THE WEEK – This week’s NBA 2K League “Game of the Week” features an inner-city rivalry as Knicks Gaming (0-2) hosts NetsGC (2-2) on Friday, June 4 at 9 p.m. ET. Knicks Gaming is propelled by the promising backcourt of point guard Christopher “Duck” Charles (17.0 PPG, 12.5 APG) and shooting guard Malik “OriginalMalik” Hobson (22.5 PPG, 4.5 APG). NetsGC is led by the exciting combo of point guard Joshua “Choc” Humphries (26.3 PPG, 14.3 APG) and center Connor “Shotz” Rodrigues (23.3 PPG, 10.3 RPG).

- MAGICAL PERFORMANCE: Last Thursday, Magic Gaming swept the Gen.G Tigers of Shanghai in their two-game series with game-winning baskets in the final seconds of each game. Guided by point guard Brendan “Reizy” Hill (22.8 PPG, 10.3 APG) and center Robert “May” May (14.5 PPG, 12.3 RPG), Magic Gaming is off to a 3-1 start to the regular season. Magic Gaming will visit 76ers GC tonight at 7 p.m. ET.
