Through this Showcase, you can relive some of the most pivotal moments in Samoan WWE history. Several “what if?” scenario matches allow you to change the course of history as well. At the end of the Showcase is a Tribal Gauntlet that requires you to choose one of 24 Samoan superstars to participate and eventually become the Tribal Chief. Here is every Superstar in the gauntlet ranked by ratings.

Rocky Maivia (73 Overall)

Fight Style: Technician

With his storied career, seeing The Rock at the bottom of any ranking is utterly unheard of. However, before he became The Rock, he was a 24-year-old Rocky Maivia. This was a completely different version of The Rock. Far from the powerhouse we know and love today, this technician version of The Rock is the lowest-rated Superstar in the Tribal Gauntlet.

Tamina (76 Overall)

Fight Style: Powerhouse

Image: 2K Games

Tamina Snuka is the daughter of Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and a legendary figure in her own right. In WWE 2K25, she is a menacing Powerhouse who plows through her opponents and devastates the female roster. That said, her 76 OVR doesn’t stand out, so she ranks low here.

Solo Sikoa 2022 (78 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

These days, Solo is the dominant Head of the Table and the one who usurped Roman Reigns’ seat as leader of the Bloodline (even if Reigns was later able to recover the Ula Fala). Before all that, he was simply Solo Sikoa, the lesser-known younger brother of the Usos. It’s incredible to see how much he has accomplished, but this version of him is on the lower end of this list, as his overall doesn’t even crack the 80s.

Islander Haku (79 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Haku was considered one of the most formidable performers in the sport (and someone no one wanted to mess with backstage) by Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Rocky Johnson, and The Rock. His 79 OVR may not reflect his impressive performances during his active wrestling days. However, he is still a legendary member of one of the greatest wrestling dynasties ever to grace the sport of wrestling entertainment.

Islander Tama (79 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Tama has a 79 OVR rating and a striker fight style. Picking him as your Tribal Chief would be a unique and interesting choice since he’s often overlooked in the history of the dynasty. Unfortunately, the 79 rating isn’t going to help in this regard. But maybe it’s worth a shot!

Tonga Loa (79 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Tonga Loa might be the butt of many jokes due to his hilarious issues as it pertains to in-ring timing. But according to WWE 2K25, his 79 OVR is serviceable and puts him level with Tama. I don’t know why, but 2K gonna 2K…

Rosey (80 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

The first 80-rated Superstar in the gauntlet is Rosey, the older brother of Roman Reigns and one-half of the Island Boyz tag team. Rosey also had a stint with his cousin Eddie (known in WWE as Jamal or Umaga) as one half of Three Minute Warning, and even had a fun run as The Hurricane’s tag partner.

Naomi 2020 (81 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Naomi is one of the most decorated and most impressive female wrestlers in recent memory. She is a member of the dynasty through her marriage to Jimmy Uso. Choosing her as your Tribal Chief in the gauntlet would probably be the most unique choice. Still, it would also create some engaging scenarios and possibilities.

Rikishi (81 Overall)

Fight Style: Powerhouse

Rikishi’s feats and performances are well-known and fondly remembered throughout wrestling history. With his sons — the Usos and Solo Sikoa — carrying on the family legacy, Rikishi’s legend will continue to live on. His 81 OVR and his powerhouse fight style make him a challenging yet realistic choice for Tribal Chief.

Jamal (82 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Umaga’s Jamal persona differs significantly from the persona we know better. It’s interesting to take control of a striker version of Umaga, who is quick and fights with combo shots. Although not quite the legendary Umaga, Jamal can hold his own in the gauntlet and would be a fun choice for the Tribal Chief.

Headshrinker Samu (82 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Like many others on this list, Samu has a storied career filled with memorable matches and moments. As an 82-rated striker, he has a good chance and a strong claim for Tribal Chief.

Headshrinker Fatu (82 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Rikishi’s time as one-half of the Headshrinkers tag team duo with Samu saw him take on the Fatu moniker. As Fatu, he is a striker rather than a powerhouse. He is also one overall higher than his Rikishi alternate.

Tama Tonga (83 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Tama Tonga is an active member of the Bloodline. With his 83-overall rating, striker fight style, active involvement in the Bloodline, and furthering the dynasty’s greatness, he is an ideal choice for Tribal Chief.

Jey Uso 2017 (85 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Jey Uso is one-half of the Usos, one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. He and his brother Jimmy have had some of the most high-octane moments in recent WWE history. With his 85 OVR, striker fight style, and dynamic move-set, he is an enjoyable choice for the tribal chief.

Sika (86 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

As one half of the “Wild Samoans” tag team, Sika and his brother Afa represent an era of tag team wrestling and Samoan wrestling that shaped what we know and love today. An 86 OVR is a fair rating and on the high side for this list.

Afa (86 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Afa is the other half of the “Wild Samoans” tag team. His 86 overall rating makes him a solid choice for Tribal Chief.

Jimmy Uso 2017 (86 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Jimmy Uso is the other half of the Usos tag team. He and his twin Jey make up one of the best tag teams in WWE history. With dynamic, high-flying moves, Samoan style, and his 87 OVR rating, Jimmy is one of the better choices for the Tribal Chief.

Umaga (87 Overall)

Fight Style: Powerhouse

Image: 2K Games

Umaga is one of the most iconic Samoans ever to grace the WWE. A true powerhouse, he made a name for himself by pulverizing every opponent before him, and had a classic bout with John Cena at the Royal Rumble 2007. His 87 overall rating and powerhouse fight style make him an easy choice for Tribal Chief. It also helps make up for WWE’s refusal to pull the trigger on him in his day, despite him being white hot at one point.

“High Chief” Peter Maivia (87 Overall)

Fight Style: Technician

The High Chief, Peter Maivia, is one of the founding members of the dynasty and the grandfather of The Rock. Apart from his 87 OVR rating, the High Chief’s standing in this dynasty’s history makes him one of the best choices for the Tribal Chief title from a story point of view.

Yokozuna (87 Overall)

Fight Style: Giant

Image: 2K Games

Indeed, a legend of the sport, Yokozuna competed in the same era as Hulk Hogan and the like. His 87 OVR rating and giant fight style give you a unique and fun ride toward the title of Tribal Chief.

Jacob Fatu (87 Overall)

Fight Style: Striker

Image: 2K Games

Jacob Fatu is the enforcer of the Bloodline and a ruthless wrestler. Given his real-life credentials, it is surprising that he is not a powerhouse wrestler. However, his 87 OVR and striker style still make him a formidable Tribal Chief.

Nia Jax (88 Overall)

Fight Style: Giant

Image: 2K Games

Nia Jax is the highest-rated female member of the dynasty, and with good reason. Her 88 OVR rating and giant fight style suit her perfectly, as she is a devastating force who demolishes female and male wrestlers. She is one of only four women to have competed in the male Royal Rumble and is a decorated multiple-time title winner. She would make an excellent choice for Tribal Chief.

The Rock (95 Overall)

Fight Style: Powerhouse

Number two is a much better position for the Final Boss himself. There aren’t many wrestlers with the aura, acumen, and talent of Dwayne The Rock Johnson. His 95 overall rating is among the highest in the gauntlet and of any superstar on the roster in WWE 2K25.

Roman Reigns 2022 (97 Overall)

Fight Style: Powerhouse

Image: 2K Games

Who else would be at the top of this list but the WWE 2K25 cover star and the face of WWE? His 97 OVR rating is among the highest in the game, his move set is fun and diverse, his powerhouse playstyle leads to some entertaining animations, and from a story point of view, he remains the best choice to snag the title of Tribal Chief.
