Top Three Highest Rated Cards In Diamond Dynasty
Among the huge collection of cards in Diamond Dynasty, there are three that instantly stand out. With each of these having a 99 OVR, other cards become pale in comparison, since the next highest rating is 93. Here are the three highest-rated cards in Diamond Dynasty currently.
- Roger Clemens – Boston Red Sox (Awards Edition)
- Gil Hodges – Los Angeles Dodgers (Hall of Fame Edition)
- Carlos Beltran – New York Mets (Signature Edition)
These cards are extremely overpowered in Diamond Dynasty and will make great additions to your team. However, acquiring them certainly won’t be easy, and you’ll need to grind a lot to collect them.

These are the top picks for each role in MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty. If you’re able to get your hands on any of these, you’ll be golden for all head-to-head battles.
That said, while these cards are the best in the game stat-wise, you don’t have to be bound by them. Instead, we recommend focusing on building your dream team and collecting the players you love, as they’ll be the most fun to play with.
Collect your favorite players and add them to your squad. You can also play around with different playstyles to get the most out of each player. But, if you feel like your dream team isn’t up to par with these high OVR cards, here’s what you can do.
Dynamic Cards In MLB The Show 25
If you want to build your dream team and compete with players who have high OVR cards, you can upgrade your cards for better stats. There are four different categories of upgrades, each offering a different stat increase. Here’s a breakdown of each one.
- Parallel upgrades: This can be done using Parallel XP earned from playing games and offers an increase of 5 OVR.
- Evolution upgrades: Evolution cards start at lower ratings but can be upgraded through specific quests. OVR increase is variable.
- Live Series upgrades: Live series upgrades mean that the players improve their performance in real life, so they get a stat buff in the game. This again varies from player to player and is not fixed..
- Collection & Exchange: Some cards cannot be directly upgraded to 99 OVR but you can collect and exchange them to receive a higher stat card. While this doesn’t upgrade your current card, you can work your way up the ladder to get premium cards.
By using these methods, you can bump up the stats of your cards, and be content with your team without acquiring high OVR base cards. That said, the most reliable and consistent method remains parallel upgrades. So, if you really wish to play a particular character, choose someone who at least has an 85+ OVR. This way, once you use the parallel upgrades, their overall will be bumped to 90.
