Best Chained Evolutions Cards In EA FC 25

Starting an Evolution chain in EA FC 25 requires a bit of planning, so it is best to stock up on meta cards from every rarity. Here are some of the best-chained Evolutions for every position to build the perfect squad in Ultimate Team.

Theo Hernandez

Theo Hernandez’s Gold Rare card is one of the most expensive items in its rarity, costing players around 400,000 FC coins to acquire from the market. This is undoubtedly the best left-back in the game, and with Evolutions, you can take this card to a whole new level. You can use Theo Hernandez’s 87-rated Gold Rare card for the Playmaker Protection II Evolution in EA FC 25. This Evolution upgrades the card’s base rating to 89 and adds Slide Tackle Playstyle+ making it one of the strongest defensive choices in the game.

Evolution Chain: Playmaker Protector II

Roles:

• LB: Falseback++, Wingback+, Attacking Wingback+, and Fullback++
• LM: Wide Playmaker+

William Saliba

If you are searching for a strong center-back who can adapt to the role of a CDM and CM, look no further than William Saliba. The base 87-rated Gold Rare card can be put into the TOTY EVO Star chain for an upgrade. The French CB is a powerhouse in the backline, and with this Evolution chain, you can use Saliba as a midfielder. The TOTY Evo Star Chain consists of six unique Evolutions and can only be applied to a single player. I recommend choosing William Saliba as you can get the Anticipate+ along with Driven Pass+ Playstyles on this card.

Jaap Stam

Jaap Stam’s 87-rated base Hero card is another top candidate for the TOTY EVO Star chain. However, this card is relatively difficult to obtain and is currently extinct on the market. You can try to complete the Hero upgrades to obtain an untradeable version of this card. Make sure to complete the Drafts objectives to unlock the final TOTY Evo Star VI Evolution. Remember, you must complete the Evolution chain in the specific order mentioned below to get the Anticipate+ Playstyle.

Kyle Walker

Simply put, Kyle Walker is one of the fastest right-backs in EA FC 25. The 84-rated Gold Rare card is easy to obtain from the market, and you can put him in multiple Evolutions to upgrade the player. Walker can be included in several chains, but the best choice is to get defensive Playstyles and Roles for this card. I used this card for the Full Force Evo first, followed by Winter Wingback I Evo. Chain the 86-rated with the Sentinel Evo, and finally with Rigid Backbone to get an 89-rated right-back.

Eduardo Camavinga

Eduardo Camavinga is a top choice for a defensive-minded box-to-box midfielder. The 83-rated base Gold Rare card can be obtained for under 1,000 FC Coins. The best thing about this card is that you can chain it through multiple Evos to get the preferred Playstyles and Roles. I wanted to get the Rapid+ Playstyle on this card, so the best choice was to use the Track Thunder Evolution. Camavinga could also be chained with the Ballon d’Or Winner: Rodri EVO for the Tiki Taka+ Playstyle.

Frenkie de Jong

Frenkie de Jong’s 87-rated Gold Rare card serves as one of the top choices for a midfielder Evolution. This card can be obtained from the market easily for under 12,000 FC coins. Frenkie’s top variants are the Winter Wildcard promos that cost over one million coins. Instead of spending it on the transfer, it is better to use the base card in an Evolution and chain it with upcoming Evos.

Yaya Toure

Yaya Toure is one of the finest midfielders in the game, useful both in defense and attacking transitions. Toure’s 87-rated base Hero card is always in demand in the transfer market as there are various Evos available for this item. Yaya Toure can play as the perfect Deep-Lying Playmaker and Box-to-Box midfielder, so target Evolutions boosting every aspect of this card. Currently, Toure fits two Evos: Start Your Engine and TOTY XI. I recommend using this card for the TOTY XI Evo as it upgrades the card’s pace. shooting, passing, and defensive attributes.

• CDM: Deep-Lying Playmaker+ and Holding++

Ousmane Dembele

Ousmane Dembele is another fine choice for a right-winger Evolution. It is best to stock up on the 86-rated Gold Rare and 87-rated Team of the Week card for this player as both are perfect for Evo chains. With the 87-rated card, you can put it directly into the TOTY Blueprint EVO to get a 94-rated item. If you are building a PSG-inspired squad, then Dembele is the best choice among the current Evolution chains.

• CAM: Playmaker+
• ST: False 9++ and Advanced Forward++

Jeremy Doku

If you want blistering pace on the wings with the ability to finish finesse shots in top bins, then Jeremy Doku is the obvious choice. Doku’s 84-rated Team of the Week card rose to almost 300,000 FC coins during the TOTY Blueprint Evo, and for good reason. You can use a chain evolution on this card to get three Playstyles+ and six Roles++.

I obtained this card through the 83*1 Team of the Week upgrade and put it into the Start Your Engine Evolution. This produced an 87-rated card that fit perfectly for the TOTY Blueprint Evo. At the end of this chain, you’ll have a player who can dominate on either wing and also play as a Striker. Doku’s best attributes after this Evo are 99 Agility, 99 Balance, 98 Acceleration, and 97 Dribbling.

Roles:

• LM: Winger++
• RW: Winger++, Wide Playmaker++, and Inside Forward++
• LW: Winger+
• ST: Flase 9++ and Advanced Forward++

Rodrygo

Rodrygo is a combination of a technical dribbler and a creative winger. For Evo chains, it is ideal to use the 87-rated Team of the Week version of this player. You can directly put this card into the TOTY Blueprint EVO.

Evolution Chain: Rapid Wing Mastery and TOTY Blueprint

• RW: Inside Forward++, Wide Playmaker++, and Winger++
• ST: Advanced Forward++ and False 9++

Neymar

For several reasons, Neymar is unquestionably the best card in EA FC 25. The Gold Rare variant costs around 14,000 FC coins, so you can easily purchase one from the market. Currently, only one Evolution fits Neymar Jr’s Gold Rare card, but you can expect this card to fit in several upcoming chains. You can use Neymar’s 87-rated Gold card in one of the following Evolutions:

• Rigid Backbone
• Start Your Engine
• Creative Catalyst
• TOTY XI

Creative Catalyst is the best Evolution choice for this card as it improves Neymar Jr’s Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, and Physical. Use this card at the CAM position for maximum effectiveness. Neymar might not be the fastest card in the game, but you can dribble through the opponent’s defense with a few simple skill moves.

• LW: Inside Forward+ and Wide Playmaker++
• CAM: Shadow Striker++ and Classic 10++
