Hitting a finisher in WWE 2K is one of the most satisfying feelings in the game. Whether you’re playing the showcase mode or having a private match with friends, landing a successful finisher can completely change the course of the game. And while 2K24 has a huge roster of superstars, some have better finishers than others.
So, in this article, we’ll be looking at the top 10 best finishers in WWE 2K24. These will be ranked based on their effectiveness, and how fun it is to perform them. Also, remember that there are also super finishers in the game. However, we’ll just be focusing on the normal ones. That said, let’s dive straight in.
Frog Splash

- Performed by: Rey Mysterio
The Frog Splash is a move that many WWE superstars have adopted throughout the years, with the most recent being Logan Paul. However, nobody performs it with as much flair as Rey Mysterio, who does the move as a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero. While Rey is more famous for the 619, it’s only limited to the ring, while the frog splash is more versatile. So, it doesn’t matter whether the opponent is lying on the announce table, ground, or the ring, you could land the frog splash anywhere.
To perform the finisher, make sure your opponent is lying down and head on to the top rope. If you want to make it even more ridiculous, climb a ladder while your opponent is down. Once you’re at the top, press the finisher button and Rey will jump towards the opponent in a frog-like manner to perform the splash. If you connect it successfully, you’ll have the option to instantly pin after it, making it super effective.
Attitude Adjustment

- Performed by: John Cena
The Attitude Adjustment, formerly known as the FU, is the infamous finisher of John Cena. While it was renamed after WWE decided to go more family-friendly, the move remained the same. It involves John carrying the opponent on top of his shoulders and slamming them on the ground. And even though we’ve been seeing it for well over a decade, it’s still electrifying to watch.
Similar to other slams, you could perform it on any surface. So, you can smash all the tables you want using it. On top of that, since John is one of the strongest wrestlers in WWE, he can hit a super attitude adjustment from the top rope. In fact, you can even perform it on two players simultaneously by carrying them both at once. Due to John’s insane strength, the Attitude Adjustment is one of the most effective finishers for when you’re outnumbered.
Curb Stomp

- Performed by: Seth Rollins
When it comes to quick and powerful finishers that can be performed anywhere, the curb stomp is my go-to. Performed by Seth Rollins, the Curb Stomp is one of the most brutal finishing moves in WWE (so much so that WWE temporarily got rid of it). It requires a simple setup and can deal massive damage. Once activated, Seth will run toward the opponent, plant his foot on the back of the opponent’s head, and drive it into the mat.
Over the years, Seth created a ton of different variations of the Curb Stomp, each more brutal than the last. From stomping superstars on the steel steps to cinder blocks, Seth has done everything. And all of it makes the Curb Stomp iconic.
Cross Rhodes

- Performed by: Cody Rhodes
The Cross Rhodes, performed by Cody Rhodes, has long been a fan-favorite move within the wrestling community. With Cody being one of the highest-rated superstars in 2K24, the Cross Rhodes has devastating effects on any opponent. It involves Cody putting the opponent in an inverted headlock and then spinning around to drive their face into the mat.
When landed effectively, it can result in an easy victory. On top of that, the super variation of it features Cody hitting the Cross Rhodes three times, making it even more brutal. So, If your opponent got back up after the first one, this variation of the Cross Rhodes guarantees them staying down for a long time.
Pedigree

- Performed by: Triple H
Triple H is one of the most iconic figures in WWE. Being the face of the company during the Attitude Era, Triple H needed a move that was as iconic as him. So, he adopted the Pedigree as his main finisher, and the rest is history. The Pedigree perfectly embodies the personality of Triple H. Blending disrespect and power, it features Triple H sticking the opponent’s head between his legs and then slamming their face onto the mat.
The move is extremely brutal if performed outside the ring, as it slams your opponent face-first into the ground. On top of that, since it doesn’t require any setup, the pedigree can be performed quickly. So, in situations like the Royal Rumble where you don’t have a lot of time, this is the perfect finisher. And if you can hit it without getting countered, you’re sorted for the rest of the match.
Spear

- Performed by: Roman Reigns
Similar to the Frog Splash, the Spear has been adopted by many WWE Superstars. However, currently, it’s the main finisher of the tribal chief, Roman Reigns. And arguably, nobody does it better than him. It features Roman running towards his opponent at full speed, and then driving his shoulder into their midsection.
The move is so devastating that if Roman hits it at his full capacity, it might actually rip the opponent in half (not really, but you get the point). That said, with Roman being the highest-rated Superstar in WWE, it almost guarantees a pinfall. So, whether it be the Rock or Hulk Hogan, if Roman lands the Spear, it’s game over.
Stone Cold Stunner

- Performed by: Stone Cold
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is arguably the most dangerous man in the WWE universe. And his finisher reflects that. The Stone Cold Stunner is an iconic move, that all but destroys the opponent if hit successfully. It involves Austin kicking the opponent in the midsection, and then following it with a classic stunner.
In the previous 2K games, if you hit your opponent with a Stone Cold Stunner, they would go flying towards the other side of the ring. However, in WWE 2K24, they nerfed that animation, and now the opponent simply falls to the ground. While it takes away some of the theatrics from the iconic finisher, it’s still a devastating move that is effective against all types of wrestlers.
Tombstone Piledriver

- Performed by: The Undertaker
Performed by The Undertaker, The Tombstone Piledriver perfectly embodies the persona of the Deadman. It involves Undertaker picking up the opponent upside down and then piledriving their head into the mat. While the move itself is iconic on its own, when it’s followed by the instant ‘Rest in Peace’ pinfall, it becomes a chef’s kiss.
With The Undertaker performing this finisher for decades, it has become synonymous with his name. So, when a move is associated with someone nicknamed the Deadman, you can guess how devastating it is. Overall, it’s one of the most effective finishers in WWE and can cause major injuries if not performed by professionals. With the move being so dangerous, the satisfaction of landing it in the game is unmatched, making it one of the best finishers in the game.
Sweet Chin Music

- Performed by: Shawn Micheals
If there’s one move we all wanted to try in real life, it’s either the RKO or the Sweet Chin Music. Shawn Michaels’ infamous finisher is one of the best kick moves in WWE history. While in theory, it’s just a normal superkick, Shawn’s theatrics make it extremely electrifying.
The Sweet Chin Music involves Shawn standing in a corner and waiting for their opponent to stand up. Once they get up, Shawn charges towards them and lands a superkick right on the chin. Everything about this move, from the theatrics to the sound of the kick, is poetic, making it one of my personal favorites. On top of that, it’s really hard to counter in the game, which makes it extremely effective for winning matches.
RKO

- Performed by: Randy Orton
Hands down, there is no move in the WWE universe more iconic than the RKO. These 3 letters represent an entire era of wrestling, for which you just had to be there. Named after Orton’s initials, the RKO is a jumping cutter, that plants the face of the opponent straight into the mat. However, the RKO isn’t just limited to the ring. You could perform it on the announce table, an ambulance, or even at the top of the Hell in a Cell.
When it comes to the RKO, you’re only limited to your imagination as it is one of the most versatile finishers. While the theatrics of the move are already next-level, what makes it the best finisher in WWE 2K24 is the fact that you can hit it instantly. To land the RKO, you need less than a second and you’re done. It doesn’t require any setup and is one of the quickest finishers in the game. On top of that, it’s extremely effective and hard to counter. So, using Randy Orton becomes a cheat code in the game. Overall, it’s the most satisfying finisher to land and can potentially guarantee you a pinfall.
