EA has made it clear what’s coming next in the preview cycle for EA Sports College Football 25, and it’s the most hyped aspect of the game outside of gameplay, dynasty mode.
Creative director Scott O’Gallagher was on socials today starting the hype train for next week’s dynasty mode deep dive. His gameplay deep dive was about 8,000 words, and he’s saying the dynasty mode deep dive will be 16,000 words.
This is incredibly exciting since we know a decent amount about dynasty mode, but things like coaching skill trees, recruiting, and the transfer portal are all still relatively big unknowns. EA Sports College Football 25 is also relying on its dynasty mode because it is a unique game-selling mode. They seem to be putting a lot of resources into it because they expect it to be the most popular mode in their game. More than Madden’s franchise mode or NBA 2K’s MyNBA, EA Sports College Football 25‘s dynasty mode is a selling point for the game in a way that makes it unique among sports games.
I genuinely believe it’s going to be their most popular online dynasty mode ever by a wide margin as well, so I do hope we here a little more about that component of things (and Team Builder). It also sounds like we’ll even get a couple more gameplay tidbits in the dynasty mode deep dive.
All in all, next week looks like it will be the most anticipated one left as we countdown the last 21 days before the official release date on July 19.
