EA Sports College Football 25 Official Equipment Thread

OS folks love analyzing equipment, and with another new drop of info today, it feels like the right time to mention we already have an official thread up where everyone is detailing the EA Sports College Football 25 equipment.

EA itself has not mentioned much about what equipment will be available to us as of yet, so this means OS folks have been sleuthing through the videos and pictures to identity whatever they can. With today’s drop, the newest look included a one-sleeved hoodie with a rolled-up jersey over that.

I love that some on OS responded by saying “not in my program!” but the cool thing is that we’re getting to see some of this stuff. Hoodies and exposed abs would be new things for EA’s football games, and it’s among the new items OSers have noticed so far.

Some other items noticed so far include Under Armour, Nike, and Adidas logos on socks. We’ve seen exposed back plates on players — somewhat ties into the rolled-up jerseys. And we’ve also gotten looks at above-the-knee pants and knee braces being back on offensive linemen.

The questions for equipment right now are how much control we’ll have over editing prospects who enter our dynasty mode, how much control we’ll have over the equipment of the real players in the game, and how much we can tweak the equipment of players on teams we’re not controlling. That sort of stuff remains up in the air, but head to the thread if you want to share anything else you’ve noticed so far in the lead up to the July 19 release of EA Sports College Football 25.
