EA Sports College Football will include player names and likenesses for all eligible FBS players that opt in. According to ESPN, EA will be working with OneTeam Partners to compensate all players that want to be in the game. Participating players will have an opportunity to get face scanned into the game but EA would be hard pressed to get all of them in due to the sheer amount of athletes. For players that aren’t interested in being in the game, a generic avatar and player would be created.
The article goes on to mention over 120 FBS schools have already committed to being in the game, along with all 10 FBS conferences and the College Football Playoff. The ultimate goal is to have every FBS school in the game. Nothing has been confirmed on what can be edited or if rosters can be shared. We’ll obviously hear much more about that topic and much more leading up the EA Sports College Football release in Summer 2024 with Dynasty Mode being a priority.
