EA Sports has revealed new updates for F1 23 along with Pro Challenges to celebrate the restart of the Formula 1 season. Starting today, gamers have the opportunity to participate in the first of two Pro Challenges. Players can engage in time trial races against EA Sports ambassadors Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, striving to outperform their ghost lap times.
Between August 29 and September 4 players can compete head-to-head against back-to-back World Champion Max Verstappen in a lap time trial. Players that beat his time will earn the exclusive FORMULA 1 DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2023 in-game helmet. On September 5, the chance shifts to challenging Charles Leclerc in a race for a special Scuderia Ferrari item tied to the FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA 2023.
Daniel Ricciardo is set to join the F1 23 roster on August 29 as well as the new layout of the Marina Bay Circuit. The third driver ratings update will be implemented on September 19, aligning in-game profiles with the actual on-track achievements.
More ‘F1 World’ challenges will be available throughout September including five ‘F1 Replay’ events, and new studio-curated Scenario Events featuring Valtteri Bottas, Logan Sargeant and Lando Norris to test even the most seasoned veteran. ‘F1 World’ will continue to deliver regular gameplay updates, earning players exclusive team and seasonal rewards, including special edition items like the recently added the Alfa Romeo F1 Team x BOOGIE Art Livery.
