EA Sports UFC 5 patch 1.13 is now live, introducing four new fighters and various gameplay improvements. In celebration of Mexican Independence Day and Riyadh Season Noche UFC, Daniel Zellhuber and Manuel Torres join the roster. Additionally, Tatsuro Taira and Tabatha Ricci have also been added. Riyadh Season Noche UFC Fight Week Challenges and new Alter Egos will go live on September 10 at 1:00 PM ET.
The update addresses an issue where fighters would “glide” when recovering from short-range combos or throwing circling/retreating strikes. It also fixes a bug where the dominant fighter in the Cage Single Under Clinch position could land unblockable body punches. Scoring 10-8 rounds will now be easier, while cuts and swelling will have less influence on judges’ decisions. Additionally, active knockdowns, where fighters recover quickly without hitting the ground, will have greater impact on scoring. See the full patch notes below.
