EA Sports UFC 5 Patch 1.15 Adds Two Fighters and Gameplay Improvements - Patch Notes

EA Sports UFC 5 patch 1.15 is available today, introducing two new fighters and a few gameplay improvements. Shara Magomedov and Matt Frevola have joined the roster along with community vote winner Daniel Cormier (UFC 226|2018).

New Alter Egos are scheduled to arrive on October 17 to include Leon Edwards (UFC 278|2022) and Justin Gaethje (UFC 291|2023), Diego Lopes and Merab Dvalishvili (Riyadh Season Noche UFC|2024) and Prime IV Series – Israel Adesanya (Prime IV|UFC 243). UFC 308 Fight Week Challenges are scheduled to arrive on October 22, along with the rest of the Community Vote Alter Ego Series. Check out the patch notes below.

 

Gameplay Updates

  • Reduced the muffling effect of strikes that land from a bad range – jabbing someone from close range will now only barely reduce the damage of incoming strikes, for instance.
  • Fixed an issue that made lead leg kicks too slow when used in combos after punches.
  • Fixed an issue that caused all fighters to have access to the Low Single Leg takedown, instead of only the ones with a high enough level in Wrestling Takedowns.
  • Fixed a rare bad state that prevented fighters from striking in the stand-up.
  • Fixed a rare bad state that resulted in players getting stuck between rounds.

Miscellaneous Additions and Updates

  • New assorted vanity rewards added.
