EA has released their Hard Chargers Content Pack today, marking the second DLC for EA Sports WRC 24’s Season Expansion. This update brings a mix of classic and modern rally moments, highlighting key moments from the FIA World Rally Championship’s history, stretching from the 1970s to the present day.
The pack adds six new cars, including the ’21 Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Ford Escort RS 1600 MK1, Renault Clio Rally3, Renault Clio Rally4, ’99 Ford Focus WRC, and Opel Corsa Rally4. Players also get 18 additional liveries, featuring the classic Peugeot 206 Rally design and two new looks for the Ford Focus RS Rally. Along with the new rides, there are fresh challenges on snow and gravel, with Sweden’s icy winter roads in Umeå and the rugged mountain terrain of Harvati, Greece.
Hard Chargers brings 16 new moments from WRC history, giving players a chance to relive some of the sport’s biggest victories. Challenges include recreating the Ford Fiesta Rally3’s 2022 Junior WRC win in Sweden, the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC’s 2021 battle in Spain, and a high-speed fight for victory in Rally Finland with the Ford Escort RS 1600 MK1. All of the new cars from the content pack are only available in Time Trial, Moments, Quick Play & Clubs.
The Hard Chargers Pack comes with the WRC 24 Season Bundle or can be bought separately for $9.99, with EA Play subscribers getting a dollar discount at $8.99.
The team also rolled out WRC patch 2.3.1 today, bringing fixes to audio, Builder mode, Career mode, Clubs, Rally School, Quick Play and more. Visit the official site for the full patch notes.
