The Egg Hunt program returns in its usual spot, launching just before the Easter holiday weekend. The “hunt” will include trying to find the seven different egg vouchers by completing mystery tasks within Diamond Dynasty.
Within the program, you can earn four players, with the top reward being an 89 overall Jazz Chisholm Jr. The other rewards include Riley Greene (88 OVR), Logan O’Hoppe (87 OVR), and Joe Boyle (86 OVR).
There are other players to earn and collect elsewhere. In the Conquest map, you will get Anthony Volpe (87 OVR) upon completion. There will also be a massive Egg Hunt collection since 20 Egg Hunt series cards are also in packs.

If you collect 28 cards, you will get Jacob deGrom (90 OVR). If you collect 18 cards, you will get Ryan McMahon (89 OVR). If you collect seven cards, you will get Pete Crow-Armstrong (89 OVR).

The 20 players in the packs are broken into two tiers. In the top tier of 89 overalls, you have:
- Logan Webb
- Dansby Swanson
- Jorge Polanco
- Tim Raines
And then in the next tier you have 87 overalls:
- Wade Boggs
- Shea Langeliers
- Jason Bay
- Edward Cabrera
- Matt Brash
- Vinnie Pasquantino
And then in the bottom tier of 85 overalls:
- Rod Carew
- Jeffrey Springs
- Gregory Soto
- Tony Oliva
- Sean Hjelle
- Jeff McNeil
- Eguy Rosario
- Joe Torre
- Duke Snider
- Brandon Webb
As for the “must have” cards, the collection rewards all look promising. Jacob deGrom has been a menace before and Pete Crow-Armstrong looks like a true “rat” card with 99s across the board with his speed attributes.
If you’re wondering how to find all the egg vouchers, we’ll have more info on that once everyone deciphers how to snag the mystery eggs from the egg tasks. You’ll need to find 5 of the 7 eggs to get the voucher. On top of that, there are Mystery Missions that are somewhat separate from the eggs.
Colleggtion Tasks
To collect the eggs, here’s the info on how to do everything as it’s now all been solved:
- Red Egg: Defeat Royals and Rockies in Egg Conquest map
- Orange Egg: Get on base 25 times in multiplayer modes
- Yellow Egg: Defeat Marlins and Rays in Egg Conquest map
- Green Egg: Each of the stadiums from the Showdown count as an egg in the newest Diamond Quest.
- Blue Egg: Each of the stadiums from the Showdown count as an egg in the newest Diamond Quest
- Purple Egg: Complete all Egg Hunt Moments
- Pink Egg: 25 strikeouts in multiplayer modes
The Pink Egg is pretty time-intensive, and the Orange Egg could be too depending on how good you are at hitting, so I would wait and see what the DQ eggs are before grinding those eggs.
Mystery Missions
We now have confirmation for all the mystery missions:
- Trivia Night
- Get a quality start with Vida Blue (at least 6 IP, 3 or fewer earned runs). You’ll need to do this in Play vs. CPU mode or Conquest mode.
- You can get Vida Blue from the Common Courtesy Program.
- Wait a Second
- Get a win with Randy Johnson (any version, so get the Mariners Team Affinity version)
- Woah There, Slow Down
- Hit a double with a player that has less than 15 speed — this goes by the default speed rating, so your PXP level should not matter on the player if it takes him above 15 speed.
- Swordfish
- Strikeout with Mike Trout — (you can use the free silver version from the Angels Team Affinity)
- Tax Season
- Get 2 holds in Mini Seasons (make sure you bring in a pitcher with a lead of three runs or less and maintain that lead while recording at least one out, then bring in a closer)
- Let’s Roll
- Get 6 hits in a single Diamond Quest game. The “easiest” way to do this is play a Stadium Showdown on Rookie difficulty, but you can do it in any number of the challenges if you’re a beast.
- Big Conquest Mystery
- Get a save with a left-handed pitcher in Conquest
- Small Ball
- Complete a sacrifice bunt or sac fly in Mini Seasons. However, the sacrifice can’t be to home plate.
