EA Sports released their latest F1 25 trailer today, giving fans a look at what’s next in their Braking Point story mode. This time around players are stepping into a bigger spotlight with Konnersport. The team is no longer just trying to keep up, they’re out there competing with the best.
This year brings in more control for players, better animations and the option to carry Konnersport’s drivers into other parts of the game. Braking Point 3 brings back the familiar faces, but the stakes are higher. Konnersport is finally running with the top teams, but one major event shakes everything up, pushing the team to prove they’ve got what it takes when it matters most.
Whether you’re new to the series or a returning player, the mode is packed with motion-captured scenes, intense racing moments and new features. F1 25 adds more player choice, letting you decide which Konnersport driver to control and includes four new difficulty options. There’s also a boost in realism thanks to NVIDIA’s Audio2Face tech, which sharpens up facial expressions and a revamped “Meet the Press” segment that aims to bring a more lifelike feel to post-race interviews.
“We’ve watched Braking Point’s story evolve over the past two chapters, and we’re excited for players to take Aiden, Callie, and Devon’s journey into their own hands as Championship contenders,” said Gavin Cooper, Creative Director for F1® 25. “Knowing how much players cherish these characters, we’ve extended the Konnersport experience to other modes so they can continue to shape the team’s future. We’re enabling players to take Konnersport into My Team and Driver Career, allowing them to create new storylines as they go up against this season’s competitive grid”.
Braking Point began in 2021 with rookie Aiden Jackson and his rivalry with Devon Butler. It continued in F1 23 with the introduction of Konnersport and Callie Mayer, the first woman to win the F2 Championship. As Butler’s perspective shifted, Mayer stepped into F1 and the team gradually climbed the ranks. F1 25 picks up with Konnersport in a stronger position and the story is built to be enjoyable whether or not you’ve played the previous games.
The F1 25 Iconic Edition will be available for early access on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC starting May 27, while the Standard Edition launches worldwide on May 30.
