The launch of a new Formula One (F1) game always captures the attention of race fans across the globe and for F1 25, it’s no different as EA Sports and Codemasters begin showcasing what’s in store for this year’s release. The short trailer that went live on March 26, 2025, showcased Hamilton playing the game as a Ferrari driver for the very first time. In addition to him speaking about achieving greatness over the years, the first look at the latest Braking Point storyline appeared along with a brief glimpse of a brand-new head-up display (HUD) players will see when behind the wheel.

Alongside Braking Point, MyTeam is returning in F1 25 and has received an overhaul. The mode will now feature Owner Perks, enabling players to enhance their style of team management even further on their quest to world championship glory. EA Sports and Codemasters say more information on what the game has in store will arrive in April, meaning there’s not long to wait!

Another notable change comes in the form of further updates to the tracks that appear as part of the F1 calendar. Last year’s game saw a huge update to the legendary Spa-Francochamps circuit and with others needing a makeover, the game has a chance to be one of the better looking entries into the long-running series.

F1 25 delivers more ways for players to experience Formula One and race their way,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters. “This year, there are new opportunities for players to connect, collaborate, and compete than ever before. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks.”
