In ‘Episode 3 – Sounds of the Track’, aspiring Team Principals can learn more about F1 Manager 2022’s standout audio features from Senior Dialogue Designer, Robbie Mann, and experts from Frontier’s audio department.

The roar of the engine, the pitched ‘pop’ of gear changes, and the rumble of the grid are the hallmarks of any Formula 1 race weekend. F1 Manager 2022 includes real F1 sound effects taken directly from real races, allowing fans to experience an unprecedented F1 broadcast experience via a selection of onboard cameras and trackside views.

Using a unique innovation, players will be able to hear their car react to every turn, bump, and curb as they push the machine to its absolute limits, with audible differences reflecting the position of the camera, the vehicle in focus, and even the gear selected in each corner. It also encompasses environmental factors, such as weather and crowd positions, allowing the full replication of the sounds of F1 race weekends across all twenty two circuits on the 2022 calendar.

To enhance the authenticity, players will hear the voices of all twenty drivers participating directly in the Formula 1 season of 2022. Drivers will come on the radio along with key events, either to celebrate a race result or to curse their own mistakes. To generate the audio in the game, the official F1 team radio was used. This ensures that each interaction is realistic.

Sky Sports F1 commentators David Croft and Karun Chandhok will bring their signature commentary styles to F1 Manager 2022. In addition to cinematic sequences at the start and end of each weekend, in-game replays highlighting key events will feature the voices of Team Principals.
