The FC Pro Open kicked off earlier today with Group A competition for a chance to secure a spot in the Open Finals and a share of the $532K prize pool. Qualifiers will compete in weekly matchups, aiming to top their groups and advance directly to the Quarterfinals.
The EA Sports FC Pro Open Finals arrive in London on February 1, 2025, at BBC Studios in White City. Sixteen top-seeded players will battle through a single-elimination bracket for a spot at the FC Pro 25 World Championship and a share of the $532,000 prize pool. The top four will also secure automatic entry into the FC Pro 26 Open.
Fans can watch the action on the official YouTube and Twitch channels. FC Pro Open aims to build on the success of last year’s tournament, which amassed over 8 million hours of watch time.
WHO: FC Pro Open features a mix of familiar faces and rising stars. Some notable participants in weekly competition include:
- Levi De Weerd, Jafonso, Verjgang, Emre Yilmaz, and PHzin – all of whom qualified directly to FC Pro Open after their performance in last year’s circuit.
- Virtual football champions from FC Pro Leagues, including Stingray (eLigue1 McDonalds, 2023), ManuBachoore (KPN eDivisie, 2022-23), Paul Neto (eMLS, 2022), and more.
- FC Pro veterans Umut, Tekkz, and nicolas99fc, each of whom has climbed their way to the world stage.
