Forza Horizon 5 Adds More Reward Cars, Limited Time Series Features and More

Horizon Festival is rolling out two updates for the holiday season in Forza Horizon 5, offering new content before and after the festivities. Running until January 2, players can earn points to unlock four new cars, including luxury models and wagons, as part of the Festival Playlist rewards. Two winter-themed Stadiums will rotate every other week during the event.

Afterwards and starting January 2 and running through January 30, the Extreme Horizon update will take over the Festival with high-energy racing challenges. This update will feature the return of a special Stadium from the Horizon PR Stunt Party and introduce a new reward car for players to unlock. For creators, the update will also include four new EventLab Stubs, providing opportunities to design custom events and challenges.

The Festival Playlist reward cars include a selection of models, offering players the opportunity to unlock and experience these vehicles across various tracks. The vehicles include the 2024 Nissan Z NISMO, 2021 Bentley Flying Spur, 2006 Mercedes-Benz E 55 AMG Wagon, 2022 BMW M5 CS and 2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon.

  • Fixed the issue causing backfire to appear on the side of the 1970 GMC Jimmy instead of its back
  • Fixed the 2022 Cadillac CT5V Blackwing’s roll cage obstructing driver and rear window view
  • The logo on the 2021 Lamborghini Sian Roadster’s rear wing will no longer appear to be floating
  • The 2022 Gordon Murray T.50 will now appear under the “European Hypercar” category
  • Fixed an issue with the “Unbeatable Street Racing” Accolade which didn’t match its menu description
  • Fixed an issue with the “On The Naughty List” Accolade which sometimes wasn’t unlocking after photographing the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV
  • The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS now shows the accurate badge on the wheels, and the silhouette displayed on the infotainment screen has been fixed
