GRID Legends Enduring Spirit DLC Available Today - New Mode Details, Screenshots & Trailer

EA and Codemasters have released their Enduring Spirit DLC, which adds a multi-class endurance racing mode to GRID Legends. This new story-based and cross-platform multiplayer DLC features a long distance race format that challenges drivers’ skills and endurance. Players can race four new cars and navigate four new routes on the legendary Fuji Speedway circuit.

Players can race as ‘Driven to Glory’ protagonist Lara Carvalho at the inaugural Seneca ‘GRID of Legends’ tournament alongside racing daredevil Yume Tanaka featuring Eight story experiences and events.

Players can race for longer and up to five classes at once in this mode. Among the four vehicles joining the eclectic roster are the high-powered Bentley Speed 8, Bentley Continental GT3 and BMW V12 LMR, as well as the nimble and agile Autozam AZ-1 Mazdaspeed Kei. The DLC will also contain a host of icons, liveries, and banners for in-game use, as well as three new sponsored Career Events.

The GRID Legends Enduring Spirit DLC is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC for $9.99. Deluxe Edition owners get instant access.

General

  • An issue that resulted in players not given control of their vehicle in Multi-Class events has been fixed
  • Ghosted vehicles after resetting to track no longer have full collision in Classic Car-Nage events
  • Several errors that caused unexpected behaviours across a handful of circuits have been amended

Online

  • An issue with the host re-joining a session which immediately ended the next race has been resolved

Driven to Glory & Career

  • Several fixes have been made pertaining to the completion of Objectives, event unlocking criteria

Performance/System/AI

  • Multiple minor UI fixes have been made throughout the game
  • Several stability adjustments have been made, reducing the frequency of game crashes

Text/Audio

  • Several translation and localisation tweaks have been made, as well as the removal of some debug strings
  • A handful of placeholder voice lines have been removed
