How to Do the Common Courtesy Program in MLB The Show 25

Now you have an excuse to be bad.

April 1 is here, and MLB The Show 25 has dropped a new program in Diamond Dynasty. And I must say, it’s hilarious! Called Common Courtesy, the program requires players to basically perform as poorly as they possibly can. This includes giving up hits, committing errors, being struck out, and giving up runs, among other things.

By completing objectives and moments within the Common Courtesy program, players will make progress and unlock a host of low-rated common cards based on Richie Ashburn, Vida Blue, Joe Morgan, and Stan Musial. Collecting all four cards will result in you being given a mystery Deluxe pack of some description. These will guarantee players who open them at least one gold card related to whatever promo the mystery pack is based on.

Completing the Common Courtesy program is a relatively straightforward process. Doing the moments will earn you 16 Stars, good enough to unlock Richie Ashburn. From there, you can take your common Putt-Putt into events with whatever team you want and, as mentioned before, proceed to play the worst game of your life. All you need to complete each player’s PXP missions is to earn 64 PXP for each player, which is all but guaranteed to be done by playing just one game.

To get all of the players available in the Common Courtesy program, players must collect 64 Stars. As an added bonus, for continued bad performance, players can theoretically earn up to 1,000 Stars to actually complete the program in full. Doing so will unlock the notorious “Nice Try, Ramone” home run call. However, in order for this to even be possible, you will have to repeatedly tally 500 PXP or more with players rated 64 or lower. I don’t know about you, but that’s a lot of effort just to unlock a meme.

But be quick about it! The collection for the mystery Deluxe pack will end at noon PT on April 2 (or 3 PM EST). And that pack may be the best chance you have at getting the collections for both the New Threads and Pipeline programs.
