How to Fix Anti Cheat Issues in EA FC 25

PC players are encountering some issues on EA FC 25. Hackers don’t seem to be as much of an issue this year, but anti-cheat issues in EA FC 25 are prominent. If you’re struggling with them, we have all the fixes you’ll need.

Anti Cheat Issues Fixes In EA FC 25

There are three main anti-cheat issues that crop up for PC players in FC 25, and EA has explained what you need to do to fix each of them.

The first error reads: “EA anti-cheat Service has encountered an error. Please restart the game. <Path of Service> <Error #>“

You’ll encounter this error when the anti-cheat can’t find the installation folder or where the game is on your PC. One way to fix it is to install the anti-cheat, which we’ll explain below, but there’s another thing to try first.

You can relaunch the EA app as an admin. To do that, right-click on it and choose ‘Run As Administrator’. Then, relaunch the game from the EA app directly.

The second possible FC 25 anti-cheat error reads: “EA anticheat Service encountered an invalid system configuration/a system error. Please run the EA anticheat Service installer.“

You’ll only encounter this is you’ve altered or changed any game files. Reinstalling the EA anti-cheat is the only way to fix it.

The third and final possible error reads: “EA anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game.“

This essentially appears if you’re using any kind of cheat in the game. You’ll just need to turn off or uninstall the cheats you’re using. Really, you shouldn’t be using them anyway.

Reinstalling The Anti-Cheat

Below are the official instructions to uninstall the anti-cheat, followed by the instructions to install them.

1. Open the Windows Explorer and search for C:\Program Files\EA\AC
2. Click on EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe to launch the installer.
   • If you want to uninstall it for one game, choose the game you want to uninstall EA anticheat from and click Uninstall.
   • If you want to uninstall it for all EA games, choose Uninstall All. This will remove all EA anticheat files from your computer, minus the installer.

1. Download the EA anticheat installer.
   • The link will automatically download the installer onto your browser.
2. Click the game you want to add EA anticheat to.
3. Click Install.
