Unlike other major promos, the La Liga event in EA FC Mobile does not feature shards or exchanges, leaving you thin on options to acquire the limited-time cards. Store packs weren’t available right from the get-go, either. Fortunately, they have now been added along with a couple of other ways to obtain the players.
Though they aren’t exactly remarkable, there are a couple of free Icons up for grabs as well. They might fill a slot or two if you’re creating a themed squad. Below are all the free cards available in the event, as well as the different ways you can get the main La Liga promo players.
Best Ways To Get La Liga Event Players In FC Mobile
Even without shards, there are a handful of ways to get La Liga players in FC Mobile. The most notable is the La Liga Pick for 10,000 Extra Time Tokens. Head to “Extra Time” and click on “Daily Picks” from the “Event” menu. It should be right at the top. You can earn the tokens in the “Exchange” menu at the cost of different overall cards.
Then there are the obvious store packs. Head to the “Store,” and there are a couple of red-colored bundles in there that are available for both Gems and FC Points. We’re a little against coughing up your hard-earned dollars, so we’d recommend holding off on FC Points — at least for this La Liga event where most cards are underwhelming. But who are we to police your financial decisions? As for Gems, feel free to try your luck if you’re swimming in them.
In the La Liga event pages, you’ll see several key matches that are rolled out weekly in the “Follow La Liga” section. Play 13 of them, and you’ll be rewarded with a La Liga event player between 102 – 105 OVR.
These were the only places where you’ll find the main players from the event. As we said earlier, there are no shards, which is a bummer. La Liga Pick is also available for a limited time and won’t last until the end of the event. We’re not sure if we’ll get something else in its stead or not.
Another batch of La Liga players can be collected through the La Liga Pass. The highest reward in the pass is the 105 OVR Fernando Torres Icon, available in the premium track. Other cards are even lower overall and unlikely to break into your starting eleven. You can buy the pass for 10,000 Gems, so while the rewards aren’t super tempting, at least you can earn them without spending real money.
Lastly, there is an exclusive batch of Icons that you can find in the “Hall of Fame” section of the event. Grind the event games, and you’ll fetch La Liga Points, which can be used to exchange for these 6 Icons for free:
- Fernando Hierro (CB, 102 OVR)
- Fernando Morientes (ST, 102 OVR)
- Diego Forlán (ST, 102 OVR)
- Xabi Alonso (CDM, 102 OVR)
- Carles Puyol (RB, 102 OVR)
- Joan Capdevila (LB, 102 OVR)
All of them can be exchanged for 1,000 La Liga Points each. They’re absolute legends of the game and could be of value if you build a past and present team, even if they won’t break into your team.
