Is There a Release Date for MLB The Show 25?

With the spring rapidly approaching, baseball season will soon be upon us. And with a new baseball season comes the release of the next installment of MLB The Show, San Diego Studio’s popular baseball sim.

With the current cycle of MLB The Show 24 winding down, fans of the series will surely be looking forward towards the release of MLB The Show 25. But when can they expect it to hit the storefronts? Here is everything we know about the release date for MLB The Show 25.

When Is The Release Date For MLB The Show 25?

Currently, there is no set release date for MLB The Show 25. However, we can deduce when it will come out when looking at the release dates for past entries of series. Past releases are as follows:

• MLB The Show 24: March 19, 2024

• MLB The Show 23: March 28, 2023

• MLB The Show 22: April 5, 2022

Judging by these release patterns, one could reasonably expect MLB The Show 25 to release at some point during March, in the thick of Spring Training. However, an early April release isn’t out of the question. MLB The Show 22 was released on April 5, 2022, just two days prior to Opening Day that year. Furthermore, MLB The Show 21 was released on April 20, 2021. By that point, the MLB regular season had already been ongoing for nearly three weeks.

Despite not having a release date set in studio, developer San Diego Studio has already revealed some details about MLB The Show 25. For one, Sets and Seasons are being removed from Diamond Dynasty which should allow for more diversity when it comes to how teams are built throughout the game’s cycle and hopefully bring about a new and more effective power creep (99’s all year got really stale). SDS has also promised changes for single-player modes such as Franchise and Road to the Show.

In the meantime, Diamond Dynasty players can continue grinding through the season rewards path and Ranked Seasons to gain Now & Later vouchers from packs which promise to help give an early boost for players’ squads in MLB The Show 25, whenever it releases.
