JDM: Japanese Drift Master Delayed, New Release Date May 21

Originally scheduled to launch on March 26, JDM: Japanese Drift Master has been delayed until May 21. Because quality is a top priority, the team wants to make sure the game not only meets expectations but goes beyond them. They’re aiming for a smooth experience from the start, and the extra time will help them fine-tune all the details.

The team will be revealing more features from the game in the coming weeks, including a detailed look at the tuning system. Below are some of the features that have previously been announced.

Over 250 km of diverse main roads inspired by real and well-known locations await you. In JDM, you’ll explore the tourist areas of the fictional Guntama prefecture. Test your skills on the downhill slopes of mountain passes, or fly sideways through a heavily urbanized part of the city.

• Licensed Cars to Choose and Customize – The world of JDM would not be complete without a paint shop, where you can personalize your car in a truly Japanese style. Head to the tuner shop to unlock the full potential of the cars you’ve acquired from the dealership. Choose from various licensed vehicles, including iconic brands like Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru.

• Drift Like Never Before – No matter what your favorite steering device is – controller, steering wheel, or keyboard – the simcade driving physics ensures an enjoyable experience. Compete in 40+ narrative-driven events against the top drifters in the area and practice your skills in numerous subquests, including drift, grip and drag races, as well as drift battles and more.

• Story to Discover – A unique plot that combines elements of racing games with manga storytelling. Play as a foreigner who wants to make a name for himself on the Japanese drifting scene. Dive into a world of speed and precision, where you’ll compete to earn respect and claim the title of the best hashiriya.
