Gaming Factory has revealed that JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set to launch in spring 2025 for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The simcade racing game will transport players to Japan’s picturesque and demanding racing tracks with dynamic gameplay and licensed car models. Alongside a story campaign, the title will feature a variety of additional challenges, offering players a deep dive into the world of Japanese cars and drifting culture.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master puts players behind the wheel of licensed cars from iconic brands like Mazda, Subaru, and Nissan, offering a realistic driving experience on scenic Japanese roads and tracks. The game features advanced tuning and customization, enabling players to enhance performance and personalize their cars with unique paint jobs, stickers, and graphics.
Players can participate in a variety of events, including fast-paced track races, drift challenges, time trials, and drag battles, each designed to test their skills. Beyond racing, the game offers a manga-style storyline that dives into Japan’s car culture, blending competition, friendship, and ambition through over 40 story challenges and side quests.
Set in the fictional Guntama prefecture, inspired by Japan’s Honshu region, JDM offers an open world with over 250km of roads to explore, from narrow mountain passes to urban streets and picturesque countryside, delivering a rich and authentic atmosphere.
There’s a free demo-prologue of JDM: Rise of the Scorpion on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. This exclusive preview offers a chance to explore the initial elements of the game ahead of its full release in Spring 2025. The prologue showcases dynamic racing, realistic driving physics, licensed cars and an introduction to the storyline of the full version.
