2K has announced Lil Wayne has arrived in NBA 2K23 as a Crossover Card in MyTEAM mode. For a limited time, players can earn the card by completing the Lil Wayne Spotlight Challenge. Weezy is 40 years old at 5’5″ but he has some springs in 2K.
In addition to the Lil Wayne inclusion, 2K has plans to introduce more apparel and content to the game next week. This includes new apparel from Daily Paper and All-Star items from Just Don, Pro Standard and New Era. 2K also mentioned another NBA 2K23 roster update will arrive next week.
The team added Deebo Samuel, Dak Prescott and Jalen Ramsey last week.
NBA 2K23 patch 5 was released yesterday for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in preparation for Season 5, which begins Friday, February 24. The update addresses a few gameplay related issues. More specifically, adjustments to the shooting model to reduce the makes of low percentage shots and missed high percentage ones.
The patch also fixes various issues with some of the court floors, added the Bill Russell “6” logo to the Wizards and Cavs City courts, additional player likeness updates and more. 2K mentions the patch will arrive for PC and older generation consoles on February 20.
