Madden 25 Available Now for Select Pre-Orders - EA Play Trial Also Available

For select pre-orders (Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle), you should now be able to boot up and play Madden 25. The EA Play 10-hour trial is not available for everyone as of yet.

UPDATE: The Madden NFL 25 trail is available on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Here are some direct links if you’re having issues finding it in the respective stores:

Head on over to the forums to share impressions, pictures, videos, bugs, or just ask questions to other users who have the game. If you did not pre-order, the game will be available on August 16.

There are a couple issues you might run into right now when you boot up. We’ve seen some server issues right here at 4 p.m. EST. This seems like the usual overload as everyone crashes the servers all at once (but we’ll keep an eye on it). In addition, there was a pre-download bug on Xbox up until a couple hours ago that has now been solved.

Madden 25 should now show up in your “owned” games. If it does not, you can download through the Xbox app with these steps:

  • Launch the Xbox app on your preferred mobile device
  • Search for Madden NFL 25
  • Make sure to choose the appropriate edition for your console (Xbox One Xbox Series)
  • Choose Download to Console

I have also seen some folks say Microsoft reps told them to unplug their console for 30 seconds to a minute and reboot. From there, the game should be available in the usual spot.

As for the EA Play trial, we’ve seen some people saying they can download on Xbox, but for PS5 it’s still showing up as being available on August 13. We’ll update as we get more info.
