The Harvest promo is not a new thing for the Madden series — in fact it’s very similar to last year’s Harvest — but as we get closer to Thanksgiving, here’s a quick breakdown of the promo as it’s a little different from some of the other promos in Madden. You don’t just rip packs or go to the auction house to buy cards with this one, it’s a little bit more about collectibles and players.
The promo is based around Night Train Lane and Michael Irvin. These are the “masters” of the promo and so you’re trading in certain cards to get them. With Irvin, it’s the four offensive 92 overalls, and with Night Train Lane it’s the four defensive 92 overalls. You can also get these two “master” cards in packs, but it’s very rare. You cannot get the other major cards (the eight 92 overalls and six 90 overalls) in packs.
The eight 92 overalls are:
- Tom Brady
- Zach Ertz
- Adrian Amos Jr.
- A.J. Bouye
- Ryan Kerrigan
- Joey Bosa
- Quenton Nelson
- Odell Beckham Jr.
The six 90 overalls are:
- Dak Prescott
- Micah Hyde
- Calvin Ridley
- T.J. Hockenson
- Roquan Smith
- Marshon Lattimore
Here is a list of all the player in the promo as well, just to be clear. The ones I have not mentioned yet are ones you can get in packs and in the auction house — or you could craft them with training.
With the 92 overalls, they do not start that way so you’re going to have to do the sets in order to upgrade any of them to the 92 overall. There are also Solos attached to these 92 overalls. With these Solos, there’s a couple sub-categories, but just know there is also a “dailies” category that you can check each day for more rewards.
Completing these Solos (on any difficulty level) will allow you to get the base 76 overall card and the collectibles/power-ups to get one of these players to a 92 overall. So, in essence, with enough time you get one “free” 92 from this promo — yes, you have the option to selection which one you want. To do any of the other 92 overalls, you will need collectibles and Harvest players.
To get any of the other 92 overalls — not related to Solos — here are your options:
- You can exchange a Gold harvest player for a base 76 overall player, which you will upgrade through various means to 92 overall, or six Harvest gold players for all eight of these players at once.
- You then get the Harvest collectibles from exchanging other Harvest sets, or by simply buying the collectibles with training. You will find all of this in the Harvest set folder.
If you get all four offensive or defensive players, you trade them in for the “master” as I mentioned previously. You do not lose these items when you trade them in, they simply become untradeable (NATs), as does the master card. So, just understand you’re “locking in” the coins/training you spent here and you’re not going to be able to flip these cards in the auction house or anything like that.
With the 90 overalls, you trade in three 86-89 overall Harvest players and two 82-85 overall Harvest players to acquire one. The other catch with these cards is they have goals tied to them that relate to the Thanksgiving games. Due to this fact, these sets will close on Thanksgiving morning.
If those players meet one requirement on their card in real life, they get a +1 overall. If they meet both statistical requirements in their game, then they will get a +2 overall in MUT. This is important because it will impact the abilities some of these players can get, which as you know, is everything this year.
Hopefully, that helps clear things up as we move towards the chaos of the Blitz promo later this week.
