Madden NFL 21 Next-Gen Patch Available Now, Fixes Lighting Issues in Certain Stadiums

A small next-gen Madden NFL 21 patch is available now for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers. The highlight of the update is how quickly the lighting issue was fixed in FirstEnergy and State Farm Stadiums, home of the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals, respectively.

There were a couple of other fixes in the update, check out the patch notes below.

  • Addressed a commentary issue at the end of games
  • Addressed an issue where a player’s imported character changes skin tone after finishing the Face of the Franchise Prologue
  • Addressed an issue around blown-out lighting in Browns and Cardinals stadium
