Just in time for the NFL season opener, EA Sports will be running their Madden NFL 25 free to play weekend starting tomorrow September 5 through September 8.

The team added the revamped passing mechanics and the switch stick delay feature from College Football 25 in yesterday’s patch along with some player likeness updates, new gear, over 6,000 newly recorded lines from the commentary teams and more.
They also acknowledged the ongoing concerns with pass coverage and are planning significant improvements in a future update. They are specifically looking into hard flats, cover 3 deep zone and press animations just to name a few.
