Madden 26 and College Football 26 both received release dates today, but it’s likely you maybe missed this one. It wouldn’t be all that bad if you had since Madden 26 is arriving in its usual window midway through August.
Launching one month after College Football 26, Madden 26 and College Football 26 shared the same trailer as it was meant to tie into tonight’s NFL Draft. You’ll now be taking your superstar from high school in Road to Glory, through college, importing him into Madden, and then taking him through his full career in Madden 26. This is not a totally new feature as you’ve been able to do some form of this for many years when both games have been available, but it seems like EA wanted to make it clear it will remain a focus for them.
If you don’t want to pre-order the MVP Bundle to secure both games (or you’re not on a platform that will have access to both games), then you can order the Deluxe Edition if you so choose. There is also the usual loyalty bonus for returning customers.
Q: If I played Madden NFL in previous years, will there be a loyalty offer?
A: Players in Madden NFL 25, Madden NFL 24, or Madden NFL 23 can purchase the Madden NFL 26 Deluxe Loyalty Edition on PlayStation and Xbox platforms by selecting the pre-order option on the in-game menu to receive 10% off‡ their purchase, and a 99 OVR Player Pack, which grants a choice of 1 player item to use in Madden NFL 25 Ultimate Team on Xbox Series S/X , PlayStation® 5 and PC (Madden NFL 25 on applicable platforms, internet connection, and all game updates required), plus all other Deluxe Edition pre-order bonuses.
We did not get any real info about Madden 26 beyond the pre-order bonuses. The Deluxe Edition will be $100 and come with three days of early access, which means you would be able to play the game starting on August 11. And while EA did say we will get a “full reveal” for College Football 26 in May, no such mention was made about when we’ll get more information on Madden 26.
