To turn on Coach Mode, just head into an exhibition or dynasty game and press the menu key or V on the team select screen. You’ll see “Coach Mode Activated” over your team name. From there, start the game, call your plays, and switch between spectator cameras as you coach.

XP-based progression in Dynasty isn’t for everyone, so this week’s patch introduces Sandbox Progression, which can be toggled in the settings menu. Now, you can skip the XP system and tweak player ratings however you want, whether it’s for your team or others.

The devs are working on a substantial locomotion overhaul and this update is just the first step in improving how players move. You’ll notice some new running animations, including a more aggressive sprint where ball carriers will put their heads down while running. On the online front, the team has tweaked how sportsmanship impacts matchmaking in MPL. The game will now try to match players with similar sportsmanship scores, making for a more balanced experience.

The patch also includes more gameplay and animation specific tweaks, along with fixes in Dynasty Mode, multiplayer and customization. For all the details, check out the full patch notes on the official site.
