Milestone, known as Graffiti back in the day, has reimagined its most iconic IP Screamer, embracing the trailblazing spirit of the original while blending over 30 years of racing game expertise with standout fighting mechanics. Scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, the game promises to leave a lasting impact on the genre, just as its predecessor did in the ’90s.

This new Screamer merges high-octane arcade action with innovative gameplay dynamics and a deep storyline driven by interwoven character arcs. Inspired by ’80s and ’90s anime and manga, the game’s narrative and visuals take center stage, featuring animated cutscenes crafted by the renowned Japanese studio Polygon Pictures and performances by Troy Baker, one of gaming’s most recognizable voices.

Combining themes of human will, revenge, love and greed with classic sci-fi imagery, Screamer immerses players in a gripping story of personal desires clashing with external forces, unfolding through the lens of a diverse cast participating in a mysterious street racing tournament.
