MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty mode gets its expected new player program today in the form of diamond closer Kerry Wood. There are six missions tied to getting this card. Here is how the card shakes out.
Kerry Wood Player Program
Wood has been an up-and-down player for me in the past, and I actually prefer the closer version to the starter version. I feel he ends up being figured out by many folks after one time through the lineup, so this is a good way to get him in and out with maximum effectiveness. The six missions/moments tied to his player program can be seen below.

Overall, these should end up being quicker to complete than the Curtis Granderson moments. You will get 42 of the 50 needed points by finishing all six moments.
The easiest and fastest way to scrounge up the last 8 point will either be closing out an events game with a Cubs reliever, or beating the Cubs on All-Star difficulty.
After unlocking the Kerry Wood, you can earn 10 stars towards the 1st Inning Program by completing a mission with that card:
Amassing 10 strikeouts with this Wood card should not be too hard, it just might take a couple games to pull it off.
