MLB The Show 20: Prime Jake McGee in Headliners Set 24

Headliners Set 24 Jake McGee replaces Award Winner Bret Saberhagen in Headliners packs today. Prime Jake McGee is a 95 overall.

McGee has a three-pitch mix, and I struggle to remember a time when he was very good in The Show. I do think there was one season he was usable, but his pitch mix generally means he struggles a bit to get outs in situations that are not lefty-lefty showdowns. It will really depend on how much control you have of the slider since the fastball should at least keep people honest. With that in mind, his control looks good, and his H/9 also looks spectacular.
