Topps is offering people the chance to buy actual cards that were in the recent MLB player tourney that took place in MLB The Show 20 on Friday. The cards being sold are the 99-rated custom versions of Blake Snell, Hunter Pence, Amir Garrett and Trevor May that those four players used in their head-to-head games.

You can buy all four for $29.99 from Topps’ site, and they’re only available for 24 hours. With how popular Diamond Dynasty and the other card-collecting modes are in the sports genre, I’m surprised this sort of crossover is not happening more often. Card companies have needed to get more creative over the years, and this just seems like another obvious way to try and bring some people back to snagging some real cards. The Show is unique in that they already work in conjunction with Topps to bring real baseball card designs into the game, but that seems like all the more reason for the relationship to work both ways.
