Headliners Set 29 Future Stars Max Meyer replaces Future Stars Austin Martin in Headliners packs today. He is a 97 overall.

Max Meyer does not look like anything too special, especially considering all the other goodies we got today. He has a four-pitch mix, and we’ll have to see how “nerfed” sinkers got in the latest patch to really see how he looks overall. Still, a 4-seam, slider, changeup, sinker combination is nothing special. He has 106 H/9 to go with a 99 mph fastball without outlier. He only has plus-plus control of the fastball and slider, so again, I’m very wary of this card being good at all.

Still, as I always say, I buy every Future Stars card because I love prospects, so he’ll still be on the squad.
