The MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty Chase Pack cards appear to be updating every Friday as of now. The latest Chase Pack card is 93 overall Topps Now Willi Castro. We’ll quickly go through how he looks and then list the prior Chase Pack cards for reference.
This is the most off-the-board Chase card we’ve seen so far. Topps Now Willi Castro has elite contact and clutch, and he’s one of those unique players with solid speed but no stealing ability.
Castro is a switch hitter with SS and 3B eligibility. At a 93 overall, it’s not shocking to say he’s probably the best option at SS and second-best option behind 99 Rolen at 3B. The 66 vision means he might struggle a bit on HOF and above, but the glove is solid enough and 80+ power means he’s going to be good anywhere in the lineup.
He’s at an absolutely insane price right now (350K), but I would expect that to fall if only because Castro isn’t a big name.
