Motorsport Games Delisting NASCAR Games on December 31

Motorsport Games has announced that on December 31, 2024 all NASCAR game titles and their corresponding DLC content will be delisted from digital storefronts, rendering them unavailable for purchase. Despite this change, players who already own the games will retain access and can continue playing them. The decision affects well-known franchises such as NASCAR Heat, NASCAR Rivals, and NASCAR Ignition.

The news is a result of the multiyear licensing agreement and the transfer of NASCAR game licenses to iRacing earlier this year, signaling a shift in the development and distribution. iRacing has confirmed they are looking at a NASCAR 25 release for consoles in the fall of 2025

The team has also recently confirmed the upcoming game will feature laser scanned tracks. The technology is pivotal to NASCAR ’25’s commitment to authenticity. Players will see and feel every element that real-world race car drivers experience, from tiny track bumps and cracks to details like switches, welds and rivets on the car.
