Mutant Football League 2 has launched on Steam Early Access for $24.99 featuring two-player online multiplayer, 16 teams – including the Karcass City Creeps and Killadelphia Evils – and more than a dozen fields ready to welcome your team to an early grave. Forget neat, trimmed grass and organized bleachers. These bad boys welcome teams to an early grave with Tesla coils, sharks, and buzzsaws, and punctuate major moments with explosive blood geysers going off left and right.
“We wanted to bring MFL 2 to Steam Early Access first,” commented Michael Mendheim, creator of the Mutant Football League series, “Because Mutant Football League has always been a collaborative project between us, the developer, and the MFL community. Early Access provides the best platform to shape the vision of the game and ensure a fun and great playing experience with the fan base.”
Franchise mode will be released during the Early Access phase at some point along with some other features that haven’t been announced yet. The full release is planned for later this fall to include more teams, arenas, dirty tricks, licensed music and much more.
