We have a new Moments card in NBA 2K20. It is a pink diamond Trae Young, which he earned after dropping 50 points against the Heat yesterday.

Sadly, the card does not have Clamps so it sucks a lot of the fun out of having it. It’s a shame a couple badges make or break a card, but that’s the world we live in for MyTeam. It does have 31 HOF badges, including Range Extender, Quick Draw, Hot Zone Hunter, Quick First Step and Floor General. Basically, it has every playmaking and shooting badge you could want, but he’s a small point guard with no Clamps. No matter how fun he is is to shoot with, he’s not going to survive out there.

On the bright side, we did get a new Moments challenge.

It’s nothing special, but at least it shows 2K has not totally forgotten about other ways to bring us content beyond the massive Spotlight Series drops. Before this, it had been so long since a new Moments challenge came out that clicking on the tile just gave you an error message.

Single-player-oriented users will have a good time getting that 2,500 MT, and it’s time for 2K to really work on making stuff like Moments better by next season.

We also got the usual weekly challenges:

Beyond that, since it’s technically the start of a new week in 2K, the 25 tokens wheel spin should have been active for you today if you signed in all seven days.

Lastly, there is a new log-in reward starting tonight that will be active for a week. If you log-in to the game, you’ll get a Kevin Durant Prime Series pack:

Enjoy the weekend y’all.
