NBA 2K20 MyTeam: Spotlight Sim Is the New Domination Mode

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

I have given NBA 2K20 MyTeam a ton of crap in recent weeks for the obscene power creep and chaos, but today’s update should be a fan favorite across the board. The MyTeam Spotlight Sim is basically a new Domination mode for those who want some extensive new single-player content.

You will be rewarded a new player for each team you complete, and every player is a diamond level or higher. The rewards work like you might expect, with an Eastern Conference, Western Conference and NBA reward:

  • NBA Reward: Galaxy opal James Harden
  • Eastern Conference Reward: Pink diamond Pascal Siakam
  • Western Conference Reward: Pink diamond Brandon Ingram

Each team has five challenges, and the challenges steadily increase in difficulty with each win (you start at Rookie and end at Hall of Fame for each set of five challenges).
