With the real-life NBA Finals tipping off Thursday, 2K released its annual simulation predicting the Oklahoma City Thunder to take down the Indiana Pacers. The NBA 2K25 sim has OKC closing it out with a 119-113 win in Game 6, capping off a breakout year for both squads.
Leading the charge is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s named Finals MVP in the sim after an MVP season and playoff run. If this prediction holds true, it would mark the Thunder’s first NBA title since the franchise’s Seattle SuperSonics days back in 1979, long before the move to Oklahoma City in 2008.
NBA 2K25 is now included with PlayStation Plus on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Starting today and running through July 1 at 12 PM ET, anyone with an Essential, Extra or Premium subscription can add the game to their library.
