NFL Retro Bowl 25 Update Adds Extreme Difficulty Setting, Improved Stats and More

New Star Games has released another update for NFL Retro Bowl 25, introducing a new Extreme difficulty setting, enhanced stat tracking for players on opposing teams, and more. The game is available exclusively on Apple Arcade for iOS devices. Check out the patch notes below.

  • EXTREME difficulty is now available.
  • Alternate display options added for the Star Player markers.
  • Improved recording of statistics for players on other teams.
  • If two Kick Returners are selected, either one may receive the ball (depending on opposition Kicker stats).
  • Your first coaching season now follows the real 2024/25 schedule.

Other fixes

  • Fix for an issue where the Interceptions stat was not displaying correctly for Quarterbacks.
  • Fix for an issue where Coordinators could go missing if you completed a season without closing the game.
  • Fix for an issue where jersey numbers appeared on Free Agent portraits in certain menus.
  • Fix for an issue where a player’s value might get recalculated in the middle of a Trade.
  • Fix for an issue where failing a player-for-player Trade due to the Salary Cap would completely cancel the Trade attempt.
  • Fix for an issue with overlapping buttons in the Trades menus on iPad.
