NHL 25 World of Chel Details Revealed

The NHL 25 developers released their deep dive blog detailing the new features and updates for World of Chel. Among the key highlights are Dynamic Live Events, which will introduce a rotating schedule of unique game experiences. This feature is designed to keep World of Chel engaging and fresh throughout the year in THREES, EASHL 3v3 and EASHL 6v6.

All X-Factors and boosts are now unlocked at player level 1, with adjustments made for balance. Speed, Acceleration, and Agility boosts have been removed, but we’ve added +2 attribute points to default ratings in all custom loads for these attributes. Additionally, the elite Edges Zone and Superstar Abilities have been removed from custom classes in World of Chel to create more variety and balance within the mode.

Chel Coin rewards are now updated automatically, removing the need for players to open them in bags. This streamlined process applies to Placement Rewards, Player Rank Tier Rewards and End of Season Rewards. Additionally, a new feature allows players to easily copy and paste their character across different presets, including Casual Skater, Casual Goalie, Pro Skater and Pro Goalie. With a single click, a character’s bio information and applicable equipment are transferred seamlessly across presets.

The Standard Edition of NHL 25 releases on October 4 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The Deluxe Edition arrives 7 days earlier on September 27. Here’s what’s included in each edition. The NHL 25 EA Play trial will also arrive on September 27, allowing EA Play members 10 hours of playing time.
