2K unveiled the official PGA Tour 2K25 trailer today, along with new screenshots and some of the new features arriving in February. The trailer highlights revamped modes, improved mechanics, enhanced visuals and an expanded selection of licensed courses, including the franchise debuts of the PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Open (sorry, no Masters).
PGA Tour 2K25 will bring a range of advancements to the franchise, including new EvoSwing mechanics, offering an array of shot types, ball flights, roll physics and visual upgrades. The game will also feature the most immersive and customizable MyCAREER experience to date, along with an extensive set of creation tools and much more. Players can look forward to a roster of 11 male and female pros at launch, including Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, Brooke Henderson and others.
PGA Tour 2K25 will include 29 licensed courses at launch, including THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass. New courses will include the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club and the 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club. The Old Course at St. Andrews will be available in Season 2 shortly after launch. Topgolf mode makes its return, alongside the Course Designer, which introduces new tools, surfaces and items, allowing players to create their ideal courses, experiment with new camera angles and share them with the global online community.
MyPLAYER personalization will offer players the opportunity to showcase their individuality with an extensive suite of creation tools. The new Attributes Point system, enhanced Skill Trees and a revamped Equipment Progression system allow players to reflect their unique gameplay styles on the course. Apparel options from licensed brands like Extra Butter, Malbon Golf, adidas and more will be available, along with clubs and balls from Callaway, COBRA, PUMA, Mizuno and Titleist.
In MyCAREER players can compete in major tournaments, express their personality through customization and interviews, and enjoy new gameplay options, including the ability to dynamically simulate rounds or engage in training and pre-tournament events. Seasons will make a return with each offering a non-expiring Clubhouse Pass, equipment power-ups, ranked leaderboard resets and fresh content released daily, weekly and monthly.
Online multiplayer will feature cross-platform Societies, allowing players to challenge friends in various formats like Stroke Play, Match Play or Scramble, regardless of platform. New daily and weekly Ranked Tour tournaments let players compete for rewards and climb the leaderboard each season.
