Retro Bowl and Retro Bowl College Updates Available - Patch Notes

Both Retro Bowl and Retro Bowl College have recently been updated for iOS and Android devices. In the latest Retro Bowl update, defensive star players on the opposing team are now labeled and possess unique attributes when facing roster-enabled teams in Exhibition Mode, provided the Unlimited Version is used. The update also includes fixes for sacks incorrectly counting as incompletions and interceptions in the End Zone not being recorded. Simulation stats have also been improved for games featuring a backup quarterback, and the Retro Bowl Winners’ List has been updated to reflect new careers.

BALANCING

  • Change to player interest in the Admissions Draft: The best players are attracted to higher-ranked Colleges. The weakest players are attracted to medium-ranked Colleges.
  • New positive Study news story possible for players with high GPA.
  • Small chance of positive news stories for any player even with low GPA or Morale
  • Tiny increase to weekly GPA reduction.

GAMEPLAY/VISUALS

  • Field hashmarks widened.
  • Other fixes to the field.
  • Spike celebration now has consequences.

FIXES

  • Fix for sacks counting as incompletions
  • Fix for interceptions not counting in the End Zone.

MENUS

  • Pre-game screen now shows game names during the Postseason.
  • Season review now shows the Scholarship Funds earned during the Pro Draft.
  • Entries in the Postseason Schedule which happen after December are now stamped with the next year.
  • Entries in a player’s C. Vitae which happened after December are now stamped with the next year.
