F1 24 will receive an enhanced quality mode with heavy ray-tracing, a 120FPS performance option and a “resolution” mode tailored for 8K displays. Specific details about updates for other sports games are still unknown. While Gran Turismo 7, NHL 25, WRC, WWE 2K24 and other sports titles are not included in the list, the team mentions many more updates are on the way. We are hopeful that the wait won’t be too long and additional sports games will be added.

The PS5 Pro offers a significantly upgraded GPU with 67% more Compute Units and 28% faster memory, delivering up to 45% faster rendering for smoother gameplay. Enhanced ray tracing technology further elevates visuals with more dynamic reflections and light refractions, casting rays at up to triple the speed of the current PS5. Additionally, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution introduces AI-driven upscaling, leveraging machine learning to enhance image clarity and add remarkable detail to visuals.
